More Info about Staropramen brewery tour and tasting
You may have already heard that Czechs are the #1 beer drinkers in the world. And they’re extremely proud of it! To immerse yourself in the culture, make sure to book a brewery tour while organizing your stag do in Prague. With the Staropramen Brewery tour and tasting, you’ll learn about how beer is made in the #2 brewery in the country. Begin with a video tour in the visitors’ centre and then apply the theory while touring the premises and tasting six kinds of Staropramen beer at the end. Staropramen has been brewing beer for more than 150 years, so you’re up for a treat.
Don’t miss out on this one. Touring a part of a brewery founded in 1869 is pretty cool in itself, but the tasting is the cherry on top. Soak up the atmosphere, let the smell of brewing take you in, and have plenty of fun with your lads!
How it works
Once you arrive at Staropramen Brewery, start with touring the visitors’ centre with video commentary that’s going to take you approximately 40 minutes. You’ll learn about the history of the Staropramen brand and dive deep into the theory of brewing.
When you’re done with the tour, you grab a table in the brewery’s restaurant, and enjoy some yummy potato crisps (they’re served with garlic dip and you’ve never had a dip this good, take our word for it!). Of course, that’s not it. A tasting set of 6 kinds of Staropramen beer is waiting for you. Plus, the story behind each one is told by a staff member as a bonus.
If you are hungry, you can add a main course per person to the package or a tapping school for the group from the extras. You can choose the main course out of 5 options like brewery’s own goulash, roasted pork knuckle and more…
