You never know, your Prague weekend could end with somebody planning another stag do suspiciously soon after. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s take a look at what Czech girls are actually like, what to expect from Prague nightlife and how to have fun, stay respectful and avoid any awkward surprises along the way.
You will get noticed, foreign lads!
Czech girls almost have a radar for foreigners. They can hear an accent from miles away and yes, foreign guys usually get attention in Prague. Being on a stag party weekend probably helps too. A few Staropramen beers in, relaxed mood, everybody more social than usual… you get the idea.
But before your mate starts behaving like he owns the city, there’s one important thing to remember: Czech girls love confidence, but not the too-loud-I-know-you-see-me kind.
Proceed with caution
Ok, suddenly your group has been joined by one or two beautiful Czech girls, depending on how well your mates played it. Now, not to make any sweeping judgments here, but we still need to say it: sometimes the girls may just be in it for the free drinks.
They know stag groups usually don’t mind spending an extra pound or two and yes, some definitely know how to take advantage of that. Then, at the end of the night, the lads in your group who thought they were getting lucky may hear the infamous: “I have a boyfriend.”
Bummer.
The places Czech girls usually hang out
You still want to risk it? Great. Here’s where you’ll want to head. You’ll definitely come across groups of girls in Prague bars and Prague nightclubs. Prague nightlife is a big thing and locals genuinely love going out for a few beers after work and partying a little on Friday and Saturday nights.
The smaller local Prague bars will usually feel more authentic, though not everybody may speak fluent English there. But honestly? That’s half the fun sometimes, right?
If you’d like to expand your horizons beyond Czech girls, head to the fancier clubs instead. Places like Duplex Prague, Goldfingers (this one is a strip club), EPIC Prague, Moon Club or Fly Vista attract a much more international crowd, so you’ll meet plenty of expats and tourists there too.
English is pretty much guaranteed, everybody’s dressed up, and the whole night tends to have a more VIP atmosphere. So really, it all depends on what you’re after. Or who are you after?
How to make a good first impression
Ok, here’s the war plan.
As we’ve already said, confidence works. Getting blackout drunk and trying to establish some deep connection by 7 PM? Not so much.
Czech girls may seem a little reserved at first (which obviously doesn’t apply to the sexy girl strippers), but once you break the ice, you may end up meeting some of the prettiest and cheekiest women you’ve ever met. They usually have a great sense of humour and are often miles away from the classic “princess” stereotype. Even though they may look like ones.
They’re fun, smart, and independent. Which is exactly why being respectful and funny will work ten times better than cheesy pickup lines ever will.
People in Prague generally dislike rude tourist behaviour and anyone acting like they own the place. That’s simply not the vibe here. Public compliments from strangers are pretty rare, too, so you may want to start with something simple instead. A shy smile, a funny comment, or noticing something unique about the girl you’re talking to will get you much further than catcalling ever could.
The rules are simple: don’t come on too strong and don’t try too hard.
Suddenly have a plus one (or two)?
Did things go smoothly last night? Awesome. Maybe now you want to invite the new “friends” to one or two activities so they can get to know the single lads in the group a little better. And who knows, maybe the connection will continue during another night out together.
For this, we’d recommend some of our more relaxed activities. A chilled Prague beer boat cruise on the Prague river is always a great shout and it won’t completely destroy the stag budget if the new friends join too.

Anyway, the moment you land in the Czech Republic for your Prague weekend, you’ll realise we’re not exaggerating when talking about the beauty of Czech girls. Mix that with amazing Prague nightlife and cheap-ish beer and booze in general, and you’ve got yourself a great, yet slightly dangerous, stag do combination.

If a beautiful girl starts chatting to you in a Prague nightclub, relax. 😀 A lot of groups ask us whether girls in Czech clubs are secretly paid escorts because that’s apparently common in some places. But that’s really not how things work here. If a Czech girl talks to you, she’s usually just… talking to you. No surprise bill waiting at the end of the night.
