5 Beer-infused games to play during your stag do in Prague

Have you packed yet? You'd better! If you're looking for stag do games to keep everyone engaged while in Prague, you’ve come to the right place. Having a list of fun activities up your sleeve is always a good idea when you need to kickstart a great night, keep one going, or wake everyone up the next day after a stag party. Today, we'll introduce you to our five favourite stag do games that are anything but random. Since you're coming to Prague, the beer capital of the world, every single one of these games is beer-themed. Cheers!
Best drining games on your stag do

1. Beer Pong

You have probably heard about this one. But why is it so popular? It’s the classic of classics that never disappoints, and it simply has to be number one on this list. BUT, we have a cool little (pretty big, actually) twist to the game for you; just keep reading!

Let’s quickly brush up on the rules. You’ll need 20 cups, a long table, a couple of ping-pong balls, and the Czech beer of your choice. Our personal preference would be Staropramen or Pilsner Urquell. Your group splits into two teams. Each group arranges their 10 cups in a pyramid at the end of the table and fills them halfway with beer.

Then, the fun begins! The teams take turns throwing ping-pong balls into the cups at the opposite end of the table. When a shot makes it in, someone from the team has to down the cup the ball landed in. The team that still has full cups left at the end of the game wins.

Feeling buzzed already? Imagine playing beer pong on steroids, where you swap cups for buckets and ping-pong balls for volleyballs. That’s exactly what our Giant beer pong is. Make this one “only the groom drinks when a bucket is scored”, and you’re definitely up for some fun!

2. The Sipping Train

This one is a fairly easy stag do game but never ceases to entertain the squad (and get everyone tipsy in under 3 minutes 😃). Make two groups again and get everyone a beer. You can play sitting at the table or standing up, it doesn’t really matter unless you’re sitting or standing in line. Ask a nice waitress to count down the start. Once you hear “go”, the first person in the line on each team has to chug their whole beer. When their cup is empty, the next person takes over and downs their beer. The goal is pretty clear – to finish all your beers before the other team does. Did you have fun? Keep going! You can easily do several rounds, considering the beer prices in Prague. 😎

3. Save the king or the president

Don’t use all your change at the pub, you’ll need a coin or two to play this one. And what else? Czech beer! Everyone in the group needs a beer in front of them to start. You drop the coin in one of your friend’s beers. They need to start the rescue mission immediately – drinking the beer as fast as they can to save the king or the president that has sunk to the bottom. Once they retrieve the coin, they immediately drop it into someone else’s drink. If you want to, you can time how long it takes for each of you to save the king or the president, and maybe the slowest one buys the next round for the gang? Keep things spicy by randomly dropping the coin in with no warning!

4. The No Name Game

Do you struggle with remembering people’s names? This is the only time it comes in handy. 😅 This stag do game has one very simple rule: no names. When addressing someone or each other, you can’t use their name. Be creative. If you mess up and call someone by their name, you drink. (Sure, you can keep screwing up on purpose, but that’s on you!😃)

5. Pub crawl special

This one is all about your stag. Before heading to Prague, ask everyone in your crew to send you one task the stag will need to complete in a bar. Inviting a dude for a drink, asking five people for their phone numbers, dancing like no one’s watching, mixing a special drink using only ingredients a bartender supplies or taking a selfie with someone named Jan. This game is a perfect add on to our guided Prague Pub crawl.

That’s it. Our favorite beer games of all time. Make sure you save this blog to show off your entertaining skills later when the mood is fading or the party slows down. And if you need any help with planning your stag do weekend in Praguelet us know!
