If there’s one thing that can totally ruin a trip, it’s bad food. And you definitely don’t want to find yourselves stuffing your faces with McDonald’s fries just because you couldn’t figure out which place to book during your weekend in Prague. That would be a shame, because Czech food is so delicious you’ll be dreaming about it for weeks after you get home (especially when you wash it down with a cold Staropramen beer). Trust us.
Luckily, we’ve got you. Here’s what you need to do to get the best taste of Prague. Pun very much intended.
Your welcome non-negotiables
Have you just landed and your stomach is growling? Don’t even think about grabbing some stupid sammies from an airport vending machine. This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing! Celebrating your lad’s wedding, at least – because we assume the marriage will last.
So do it in style. We can pick you up at the airport (How does a Hummer limousine sound?) and drive you straight to your welcome feast. Meanwhile, your phones can sit calmly in your pockets instead of the whole party frantically searching Google Maps and skimming through reviews at the speed of light.
These are your options:
Traditional Start Up Dinner in Prague is pretty self-explanatory. A cosy Czech pub, pint after pint landing on the table and two mouth-watering meals to choose from: savoury beef tenderloin with a rich creamy sauce, cranberries and bread dumplings, or beef goulash with horseradish and potato pancakes.
It’s a tough choice, and we guarantee that once the other plate lands in front of your mate, you’ll wanna swap – or at least steal a bite – because these two are just SO GOOD. (Also, they won’t break the bank: prices in Prague are still kind of reasonable if you know where to go – or let us take you.)
Or, if you fancy a location that’s an experience in itself, try the Traditional Bohemian Feast in Prague. It’s a three-course dinner at an old Prague brewery. If you didn’t know, beer is big in the Czech Republic. We’re the number one beer drinkers in the world, and brewing the stuff has an insanely long tradition here.
The place we’re taking you to, U Fleků, dates all the way back to the 15th century! And this is the only place in the world where you can taste Flek’s 13°, the house unfiltered dark lager that has been brewed there continuously for more than 500 years.
Something a tad spicier (not in the amount of spices)
Well, speaking of traditions, there’s one thing that goes hand in hand with a stag do: sexy girl strippers. And because we know what you like, we’ve bundled two of the greatest things in the world – hot women and food – together.
With Steak & Strip Prague, you can enjoy a delicious steak at one of our favorite restaurants in Prague (no need to hunt down the best steak houses in Prague!), followed by an equally delicious dance that might just be a tad spicier than the peppercorns on your plate.
Two birds, one stone. You don’t have to worry about booking a separate show – it’s all sorted for you, and you get to tick another stag do must-do off the list!
Something a little different
And there are more options when it comes to who’s going to be dancing around – or on – your table. What if it was a fire-eater putting on a show?
We can arrange a Medieval Dinner in Prague that’ll take you to a different world. Well, straight back to the Middle Ages. This tavern has been open since 1375. The waiting staff have changed since then, but the vibes are pretty close to what dining might have felt like back in the day.
Enjoy a proper medieval feast and show complete with beggars, jugglers, sword fighters and live medieval music, and let your lad dine like a king!
Sounds like a bit too much? Yep, we get that this may not be for everyone. A Prague River Cruise with a buffet is the safer choice, then. Sit back, enjoy cruising down the Vltava, the Prague river, and – more importantly – tuck into a full buffet with drinks ready for you.
How does booking a meal activity work?
Unlike action and fun activities where you might need to bring special outfits or gear, this is pretty straightforward: you book, we feed you.
Each activity includes a local guide who can pick you up, take you to the restaurant, advise you on what to get – and what to wash it down with. You can also add extras such as transportation or unlimited drinks, for example. Each activity already comes with at least two drinks per person, sometimes three. Enough to get you warmed up for the nightlife in Prague.
And if you go for Steak & Strip, you have the option to swap the classic stripper for Roly Poly dancers or a lesbian show. Because who are we to decide what you like, right?
Any special requirements on top of that? Maybe someone in the group is vegan? That’s very unfortunate for a weekend in Prague, but we can help and organise around that too. Just let us know.
So, see you soon and dobrou chuť!
You should remember that one – it means “enjoy your meal” in Czech.
